Education & Licensure
1979 BA Psychology, University of Minnesota – Duluth
1981 MS Clinical Psychology, North Dakota State University
1984 Licensed as an LP by Minnesota Board of Psychology, License #LP1396
My early clinical education focused on behavioral and cognitive-behavioral therapy in a program emphasizing behavioral medicine applications. Over the years, my treatment approach has expanded to draw from a variety of perspectives, and might best be described as eclectic. I seek to keep abreast of developments in my areas of specialization and practice through regular involvement in professional continuing education on both a local and national level.
I have completed EMDR Training Levels 1 and 2, along with multiple additional hours of EMDR consultation.
Throughout my career, I have routinely participated in ongoing professional consultation, which is a more individualized form of professional development and feedback.
